In recent years, social networking sites like Microblog and Wechat have rapidly gained popularity among people. Many people spend a lot of time on those sites chatting, making friends and playing games. Browsing those sites has become a part of their lives.

People’ s opinions vary greatly on social networking sites. Supporters regard social networking websites as places to share feelings and experiences with their friends. Besides, it’s very convenient for them to get access to the outside world. However, some people don’t approve of it. They say that it is easy to let out users’ privacy on social networking sites. Some may be cheated by the frauds who steal their friends’ account numbers.

As far as I am concerned, social networking sites serve as a good platform for us to make new friends and keep in touch with old ones. However, we should be aware of the potential dangers involved.
