College Associations

It’s nothing special that upon the beginning of a new semester, many associations spring up on campus, trying hard to appeal to freshmen. Those newcomers may be dazzled by such variety and don’ t know what to choose.

However, when it comes to whether it is a good or bad thing to take part in the club, different students hold different views. Some think that attending groups is a good way to develop their comprehensive abilities. While others believe the disadvantages outweigh the advantages, for it will take students much time that should be spent on study, especially for those who immerse them-selves in more than one group.

As far as I’m concerned, you should make clear what your interest is and join the one you are really fond of. Moreover, don’t let group activities occupy much of your college life, for academic study is your main task on campus.
