It can be seen from the above chart that the ownership of new energy vehicles (NEVs) in our country has increased fast from 6.03 million in June, 2021 to 16.2 million in June, 2023, with an annual growth rate of more than 60％. Besides, NEVs account for nearly 5％ of total ownership of all kinds of cars in the same period of 2023.

The chart reflects the gradual popularization of NEVs in China, which may be attributed to the following two reasons. First of all, government subsidies to NEVs to promote the transition to clean energy make a great contribution, for the sake of the advantages of NEVs such as low emission and low power consumption. Moreover, taking into account the increment of battery range, technical breakthroughs in automobile production and the availability of public charging stations, an increasing number of car owners actively purchase NEVs, which encourages the mass popularization of NEVs.

Considering the above analysis, I believe that with the speed-up of the installation of fast-charging infrastructure, the output and sales of NEVs can be further boosted in the future.
