The Importance of Self-study

As we all know, different from high school days, college students have more free time and college teachers

tend to be less strict with their academic performance, therefore the importance of self-study can be understood without further explanation.

First and foremost, college students who engage in self-study can make full use of their spare time to acquire knowledge rather than be confined to what they have learnt in class, so that they can have a deeper understanding of professional knowledge. Secondly, they can gain knowledge beyond their specialties through self-study and then obtain several certificates such as CET 4 and CET 6 to pave the way for their job hunting after graduation. Finally, during the self-study, they can learn how to manage their time and themselves, which plays a vital role in their future life.

In conclusion, we need to develop the habit of self-study and be strict with ourselves. Only by lifelong study can we avoid becoming obsolete.
