The Importance of Cultural Heritage

Cultural heritage plays an important role in our lives. It is comprised of tangible and intangible cultural heritage, which includes buildings, landscapes, voices and traditional culture etc.

As is frequently pointed out, the cultural heritage represents the his-tory and culture of the country and it is a best way to preserve and sustain the civilization. It can also provide an automatic sense of unity and belonging to a group and allow us to better understand previous generations. It is not only the cultural manifestation itself but also the wealth of knowledge and skills that is transmitted through from one generation to the next. On top of that, it provides people with a link to tradition-al culture that might otherwise be lost.

Given the advantages I have just presented, I strongly recommend that we should pay more attention to the education on cultural heritage in a bid to better promote the sustainable development of cultural heritage.
