Quality Education

Nowadays, educationalists advocate that quality education should be promoted in the country. But the cur-rent situation worries them a lot. Stu-dents are being burdened with count-less homework and various examinations, and their development of other important qualities is hindered or totally overlooked.

It is obvious that quality education is beneficial to students. First, it will, to some extent, free them from homework and tests. Second, it can broaden students’ horizons and enhance their capacities to handle real-life issues. What’s more, it values ability more than rote learning, so students will develop their abilities in an all-round manner.

But how can quality education be enhanced? First, the education system should be reformed by changing the educational objectives, revising the syllabuses and so on. Second, teachers should be trained and new teachers with more innovative ideas and higher qualifications should be employed. In this way, a new educational prospect will be in sight in the near future.
