The Importance of Waste Sorting

Today environment protection is full of urgency, and garbage disposal has become one of the most serious problems for human beings. Therefore, in recent years, we have advocated the waste sorting, which has become an indispensable and effective way of environmental protection.

The importance of waste sorting is self-evident. Firstly, waste sorting can reduce land occupation. Some non-degradable garbage can cause great damage to the land, such as plastic and glass bottles. Secondly, waste sorting can reduce environmental pollution. Some garbage, such as batteries which contain harmful substances like mercury and cadmium, can cause serious harm to our living environment. Finally, waste sorting can turn waste into treasure. 30%-40% of the production waste can be recycled, which is both environment-friendly and resource-saving.

In short, waste sorting is important for improving the environment.
