Once upon a time, a frog lived at the bottom of a well, believing the patch of sky above it to be the whole world. One day, an eagle flew by and told the frog, “The world outside is vast and boundless. ” Doubtfully, the frog thought the eagle was exaggerating. So the eagle grasped the frog and soared with it into the sky, giving it a bird’s-eye view of the earth. It was then that the frog, to its surprise, realized how vast the sky was and how limited its own perspective had been. The story teaches us not to confine ourselves to our narrow viewpoints and limited experience, but to be aware that the world outside may be much broader and more diverse.
