China’s e-commerce market has been competitive in recent years, and its total size has reached 30 trillion yuan in 2018. Hence Chinese companies, together with retail outlets, have to adjust their sales strategies to compete with online rivals. Logistics, however, poses a major obstacle to the e-commerce development. Alibaba Group is now working with Chinese logistics firms to improve nationwide infrastructure construction and delivery networks.
