In ancient times, Tang suit refers to the Hanfu of the Tang Dynasty, which has a profound historical background and unique aesthetic value. Today, it also refers to the modern Chinese-style garments newly designed based on the traditional attire of the Qing Dynasty. The latter is named “Tang suit” because the Tang Dynasty once had a tremendous impact on the world, which led many countries overseas to refer to things related to China as “Tang”.
