The Relationship Between Dream and Job

The picture vividly depicts a confused student standing on a pile of books with a bunch of balloons in his hand which symbolize his dream. However, he couldn’ t free himself from the chain of employment at the same time. He is trapped in a dilemma.

This thought-provoking picture reflects the conflict between college education and the difficulty in employment faced by lots of students. As far as I am concerned, dream overweighs employment. Socrates once said, “The happiest thing in the world is the struggle for one’s dream.” Dreams give directions and meanings to our lives and endow us with determination. Motivation and confidence are derived from our strong faith in realizing our dreams. Dreams often contribute to a successful career once you are determined.

All in all, priority should be given to dreams when we are faced with the conflict between education and difficulty in employment. Dreams enrich our lives and enhance our determination and courage. We will make the right choice if we know the importance of dream and how to turn it into reality.
