To put yourself in the other’ s shoes means to think from the perspective of others. We have been taught from a young age to learn it, but few people can actually do it, which may bring about many conflicts.

As smart phone becomes a necessity, almost everyone learns to play music and watch videos on it. In some public places, especially on sub-ways and buses, some people like to do it without earphone plugged, which disturbs the surrounding passengers a lot and even leads to quarrels. If they can put themselves in the other’s shoes, they will know some people who want to have a rest after tiring work will be annoyed.
