There has been a lot of discussion about such pictures in the newspapers recently. Simple as the picture is, it does illustrate a thought-provoking social phenomenon.

The picture tells us that our life has been greatly affected and changed by the progress of science and technology, which has become an important part of modern life. Moreover, individuals, organizations and governments are concerned about this phenomenon. On the one hand, the progress of science and technology can improve people’s understanding of things, improve people’s learning ability and skills, shorten the distance between cities, and even between continents, so as to eliminate the estrangement between people. But on the other hand, although computers can help students finish their homework, they also kill their creative thinking and thinking ability.
