Small and medium-sized enterprises, which are related to thousands of households, are an important force in promoting innovation, employment and improving people’s livelihood. In China, SMEs contribute nearly 50 percent of the national revenue and 60 percent of the gross domestic product. Currently, influenced by various complex factors, many SMEs are facing difficulties such as increasing raw material and labor costs, outdated traditional management modes, and the growing uncertainty of development prospects. For these reasons, the Chinese government has adopted a series of new measures to help SMEs overcome short-term difficulties, thus promoting their high-quality development.
