From the picture, it is not difficult to find that in today’ s society, lots of people are eager to donate money to charity, regardless of their age, gender or career. Even people without much money participate in donation activities.

It is good news for the poor, the disabled and those from the disaster-stricken areas. The picture reminds us that in China, due to the unbalanced distribution of natural resources, a large portion of people still live in poverty. Many children become dropouts simply because they cannot afford tuition. Moreover, there are many areas which are occasionally at-tacked by natural disasters, and thus local people often get into terrible predicaments. In addition, we should not forget the disabled people who are in great need of help from society. It is a good way to express love by con-tributing money and other necessities to people who are in urgent need. To some extent, it reflects an individual’ s sense of social responsibility.

Therefore, I strongly appeal to everybody to give a hand to the people in need. I am sure we will embrace a better society with our love and contribution.
