Is It Necessary to Go to College?

The number of college students has been increasing every year. Meanwhile, a great many people start to think that college study is unnecessary. As far as I am concerned, college study is essential. There are some reasons accounting for my point.

First of all, college study is an effective way to improve ourselves. We are able to acquire some knowledge and improve our skills, which gives a basis for our future career. Second, college study is a bridge between school and society and it gives us a chance to get acquaintance with society in advance. For example, we can learn how to get along with different kinds of people in universities so that we can cooperate with others better in society. Last but not least, college study is helpful for us to develop a proper outlook on life and a sense of value. Through college study, we are gradually developing the ability of thinking independently and forming our own model of thinking. And this process is definitely important for our future life and career. To sum up, college study is undoubtedly necessary if conditions are allowed. Therefore, once we choose to continue study on college campus, what we need to do is to study for a promising future.
